Kundalini Yoga is called “the yoga of awareness” because it awakens the Prana or life force of the body. It is a complete and holistic system of Yoga, introduced and popularized in the West in 1968 by Yogi Bhajan, Ph.D. It harmonizes the mind and body, clearing the subconscious and raising personal consciousness. This class will focus on stress relief and self healing through a specific set of exercises, pranayama, mudra, mantra and meditation designed to provide extensive health benefits, personal growth and improve mental, emotional and physical well-being. No previous experience is required.
