12:00pm – 2:00pm
Karuna in Sanskrit means compassion, empathy, or kindness. Join Stephen for this special class designed to cultivate compassion for yourself and others using the powerful yoga tools of Pranayama (yogic breathing), Mudra (gestures of the hands that promote physical health, psychological balance and spiritual awakening), and Yoga Nidra (guided meditation designed to promote deep relaxation).
This Karuna Kriya practice is designed to open our hearts and expand our ability to practice compassion for all beings. Through more compassionate eyes, we learn to focus on our similarities, rather than our differences. Opening our perspective in this way helps to reduce our own suffering and get better connected to our True Selves.
This class is perfect for anyone looking to explore breathing, meditation, or yoga philosophy.
No experience necessary. Please bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing.
