The transition from fall to winter can be a challenging time to remain centered and grounded. Just as the cold winter wind swirls and howls outside, our thoughts become tumultuous as we rush to keep up with the events and obligations that the season brings. During this hustle and bustle, it is especially important that we take time for ourselves to reenergize, reconnect, and restore.
This Fire & Ice workshop is designed to help you find balance by exploring two extremes of the yoga practice. We will start off with a vigorous vinyasa practice focused on creating heat from within. Through pranayama combined with an emphasis on the core and balancing postures, we will ignite our inner fire and radiate the energy we create throughout the rest of the body. Then we will cool down with deeply restorative held postures, allowing both body and mind to release tension and feel fully supported and grounded. You will leave feeling ultimately centered, balanced, and revitalized. Yogis of all levels are welcome and encouraged to carve out a moment of time for self-care during the busy holiday season.
